I can’t think of anything interesting to say, so here’s a survey I pieced together from a few of them that I found at Bzoink.com. They have tons of random, ridiculous surveys there, and if you have enough patience, you can usually find something interesting. So, without further ado, here it is!
List 5 things that get on your nerves.
Texting, how young people have gotten into this trend of adding an extra letter or two to a word when they’re texting or on Facebook (like the word “reallyy,” or “okayy,”) the sound of acoustic guitar music, the big deal people make about the show 30 Rock, and Jonah Hill.
List 5 things that put you in a good mood.
Eating breakfast or lunch at the Raleigh farmers’ market restaurant, reading a book all the way through and not finding a single typo, the Shiba Inu Puppy Cam (when the pups are awake and playing), my nephew (usually), and not spending the night stewing because the neighbors on the other side of the bedroom wall are talking loudly until 3 in the morning.
What’s one thing you do that others find strange?
Oh God, the way I eat a candy bar would crack you up. Most of them have too much chocolate, like on the outside, and all I really want is the good stuff in the middle, so I usually eat all of the chocolate off the outside of the candy bar, so that what’s left is just a big turd log-looking mess of nougat, peanuts and caramel. Yum!
Do you live in a house or an apartment?
An apartment. A very noisy, cheaply built apartment.
Do you live in the city or country?
In the suburbs, actually. We’re about 10 minutes from Raleigh.
What state do you live in?
North Carolina.
What’s the first thing others notice about you?
My stellar personality, of course! Or if I have my hair down, they notice that. Sometimes people get all goofy about my curls.
What’s a perception others have of you that you don’t agree with?
That I’m outgoing and friendly. It couldn’t be more true.
Are you a flirt?
Not really. I warm up to people easily and act goofy around them, but I don’t really get flirty with people.
What was your favorite year in school?
That was 1991, the year I graduated. I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of that place!
Do you smoke?
Not anymore. I used to, but I quit sometime around 2003.
Do you drink?
Yep, usually on Saturday nights.
Do you do any drugs?
I’ll smoke weed if I can find it, otherwise, nope.
Do you take any prescription drugs?
Yep, but not for the high factor. I take them for diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol.
What kind of cell phone do you have?
I have a Palm Pre. Don’t ever get one. It’s not horrible, but it could be a whole lot better.
What kind of chores do you usually do around the house?
All of them except taking out the trash and recycling.
What is the one TV show you could watch over and over again?
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. But, really, that’s just one of many.
Is there anybody that just gets on your nerves constantly?
Yep, there are several.
What would you do if you had one more year to live?
Find Kel a group of close friends to lean on when I’m gone, and take as many trips to places we’ve never been together so he has all those memories of us to look back on.
Is SpongeBob gay?
No, of course not. He had a crush on Patty, the Krabby Patty he made that had the face of a woman. I think Squidward probably is, though.
Do you recycle?
As much as possible. Everyone should.
What is your favorite animal?
Shiba Inu puppies.
Do you still use a CD player?
In the car, yes, because usually my mp3 player’s song licenses are expired and I forget to renew them before I’m going somewhere.
When did you last see your parents?
Three weekends ago.
Does it bother you when people get too obsessed about stupid stuff?
Not usually. I’ve been known to get obsessed about things that other people would consider stupid, so I can usually understand it.
What is the last movie you’ve seen?
I’m kind of ashamed to admit this, but I saw The Family That Preys last. It’s a Tyler Perry movie, and I can’t stand that guy, plus the movie was a little cheesy and predictable, but it was still a good story, despite being made by the Madea (*gag*) franchise.
What is the one fast food restaurant you have never been to?
Well, there are more than one, but the first that comes to mind is White Castle.
Have you ever gotten to see the movie Twilight?
Gotten to? Like as in I was excited about seeing it? I’ve seen it, but not by choice. Kel got it from Netflix because he wanted to see it; I just happened to be in the same room on the computer while it was on. It was lame, in my opinion, but I’m not really into fantasy stuff like that.
Don’t you just hate those Geico commercials?
Yeah, kinda.
Were you born in the ’90s?
HA! No! I wasn’t even born in the ’80s!
What was your favorite cartoon character as a kid?
Brainy Smurf. Just kidding, I always hated that whiny jerk. I really liked The Jetsons, in particular, Jane, because they lived in this really cool, automated push-button world.
