Open all your MP3s and make your player play them shuffled.  What is…

01. “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” by Hank Williams
02.  “All Along The Watchtower” by Bob Dylan
03.  “Anyone Else But You” by The Moldy Peaches
04.  “Boogie Oogie Oogie” by Brooke Valentine featuring Fabolous
05.  “No One Knows” by Queens of the Stone Age
06.  “Nookie” by Limp Bizkit
07.  “Authority Song” by John Mellencamp
08.  “Faith” by Limp Bizkit
09.  “Sweetest Thing” by U2
10.  “Square One” by Tom Petty
11. “Kaw-Liga” by Hank Williams
12. “Matrimony” by The Avett Brothers
13. “Cupid” by Sam Cooke
14. “Pagan Angel and a Borrowed Car” by Iron and Wine
15. “Smile” by Lily Allen
16. “Rock The Casbah”  by The Clash
17. “Land of Confusion” by Disturbed
18. “Wishing Well” by Terence Trent D’Arby
19. “Our Song” by Taylor Swift
20. “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race” by Fall Out Boy
21. “Ain’t No Other Man” by By Christina Aguilera
22. “Somebody Told Me” by The Killers
23. “Not Fade Away” by Buddy Holly
24. “Thank God I’m A Country Boy” by John Denver
25. “New Year’s Day” by U2

Do you like the way that turned out? Not really.  I didn’t like that the player repeated U2, Hank Williams, and Limp Bizkit.

Are you embarrassed by any of the songs? Kinda.

If yes, which ones and why? Taylor Swift and Christina Aguilera.  Not the most masculine picks on my player.

Which is your favorite song out of the 25? That’s a tough question.  I really like Hank and The Avett Brothers, but I like singing along to “Thank God I’m A Country Boy”.

Which is your least favorite? Probably “New Year’s Day”.  I always skip over that song when it comes on.

Did you get to hear your favorite song of all time? Nope.

Do any of them make you think of someone special? Yes.

If yes, which ones, and who? “Boogie Oogie Oogie” and it reminds me of Val.

Why? Because we watch the movie “Roll Bounce” when it comes on and “Boogie Oogie Oogie” is on its soundtrack.

How many MP3s do you have? I believe we’re somewhere in the thousands and that doesn’t include stuff we have on CD.

How do you get your MP3s? We use Rhapsody with our MP3 players.  It’s not bad for $15 a month.

Do you think downloading MP3s is as terrible as it’s made out to be? Pfft! For what they charge for CD’s . . . Heck no!

Are you pleased with your MP3 collection? For the most part.  I don’t have any Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, or The Eagles because they aren’t available on Rhapsody, but other than that I like my collection.

Well, that’s it, are you sad? Sort of.  I like to write about music and answer surveys.  I’m glad that I finally got myself to write something in here in for the first time in who knows how long.  :-D
